Current Forum: The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the Moon Marigolds Date: 17-Nov-2002 19:09:29 Author: Hall, Jona <fh_jhall@seovec.org> Subject: Connector  Hi Everybody, I decided to be the connector for this story. Wow, what a task. I really could not connect to this book. I tried every little bit of information, but it was really hard for me to do. I guess one thing that I could relate to was having a rabbit as a pet. When I was young I used to show rabbits for 4-H. The only other connection that I could make was having a parent annoyed by a pet. My mother used to tell the dog that she was going to remove her barker. ha ha ha. Of course, even as a kid, I knew that my mother would make funny threats when the dog wouldn't quit barking. I knew that she was just kidding. So, when the mother in the story would always complain about the rabbit it took me back to when my mother would always complain about our little house dog. :0)

I took notes and wrote down vocabulary, but that is as far as I got. I thought we were going to skip this novel for discussion and write up.
